We’re looking to hire an Marketing Manager for a cutting edge Ad agency client . Teams are very collaborative and have a passion for creating cutting edge customer experiences. My direct client is looking for someone to join the Account Management team to manage and prioritize client relationships for multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion within tight deadlines. This is a 3-6 month contract ($35 - $40/hr) + possible convert to perm ( $65 - 75k ). The team is located in Smithtown, NY , and the role is on-site 4 days/week (Friday remote). Onward Search provides benefits for 40 hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for duration of the contract. Marketing Manager Responsibilities: Cultivate and maintain robust working relationships with key day-to-day client contacts. Lead and facilitate client status meetings, ensuring all related documentation is precise and current. Proactively identify and resolve challenges across various projects. Collaborate effectively and seamlessly with cross-functional agency teams. Apply strong analytical skills to interpret data and develop actionable insights. Utilize sharp communication skills to convey information clearly and persuasively. Independently manage assigned projects while working closely with Account Supervisors and Directors. Contribute directly to the overall success of the agency through dedicated project ownership and support. Oversee all project logistics with meticulous attention to detail, including schedules, budgets, external resources, talent allocation, and securing necessary approvals. Proactively anticipate client and team requirements, developing and implementing insightful and effective solutions. Partner with leadership to establish project goals, delegate tasks effectively, and drive successful outcomes. Independently manage the full lifecycle of small- to mid-sized projects, providing clear guidance to both clients and internal teams. Manage project briefs, coordinate internal teams and external vendors, strictly enforce deadlines, and oversee the invoicing process. Marketing Manager Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a closely related field. 3-5 years of proven account management experience, demonstrating a strong record of client retention. Professional and client-focused approach in all interactions. Exceptional organizational capabilities and a keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence and proficiency in public speaking. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficient in AI-powered tools, Google Workspace/Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledgeable about major social media platforms. Develop compelling presentations and project proposals (including detailed estimates), facilitate productive brainstorming sessions, and maintain proactive client communication through comprehensive reports and meeting summaries. Provide valuable insights into the competitive and broader business environment to enhance the quality and strategic relevance of our work. Identify and pursue opportunities for client account growth and actively contribute to agency-wide initiatives.
