Baer is looking for SAP Warehouse Management Consultant for a 3+ month Federal Project located in Kansas City, MO.

Title: SAP Warehouse Management Consultant Location: Hybrid - Kansas City, MO Duration: 3+ months Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed Alignment: W2 or C2C (Single Person LLC Only)

Overview

The SAP Warehouse Management (WMS) Consultant is responsible for analyzing, designing, and configuring SAP solutions to support warehouse and inventory business processes. This role focuses on delivering effective SAP EWM/WMS implementations aligned with business requirements.

Description

Lead SAP EWM Greenfield implementations based on business requirements Analyze and design warehouse processes including: Receiving and put-away, Inventory management, Order picking/ packing/fulfillment and Shipping and labor management Configure SAP WMS/EWM solutions and document design decisions Develop and execute testing strategies for complex implementations Prepare documentation (RICEFW objects, test scripts, process flows) Integrate SAP WMS with other enterprise systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business alignment Monitor warehouse performance metrics and analytics Mentor junior team members and support team leadership activities

Requirements

7+ years of SAP WMS/EWM functional experience Proven team lead experience Strong understanding of warehouse operations and SAP configuration Bachelor’s Degree Experience with Greenfield EWM implementations Integration experience with: ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems), Handling Units and Manufacturing execution processes Experience integrating SAP EWM with SAP Production Planning (PP) Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning
