The Senior Scrum Master will lead and support Scrum teams while championing Agile principles and ensuring adherence to the Scrum framework. This role is responsible for driving the successful delivery of products by optimizing timelines, removing impediments, and refining team processes. In addition to facilitating day-to-day Agile ceremonies, the Senior Scrum Master will serve as a coach and mentor guiding other Scrum Masters and promoting Agile best practices across the organization. This role is open to San Francisco, CA, Portland, OR Salt Lake City, UT, Los Angeles, CA, Seattle, WA, Portland, OR Responsibilities: Facilitates and is accountable for leading the team through the agile ceremonies, including:- Daily scrums Sprint demos Retrospectives Backlog Grooming Sprint Planning PI Planning Coach and mentor one or more cross-functional teams in Agile principles, practices, and frameworks. Support Product Owners in maintaining a healthy product backlog and defining clear, actionable user stories with proper sizing and acceptance criteria. Coordinate with program, product, and release managers to align sprint goals with broader organizational objectives. Track, analyze, and report on Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down, cycle time) to evaluate team performance and Agile maturity. Drive Agile adoption and act as a change agent to enhance productivity and effectiveness. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. At least of 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 1 year of hands-on Scrum execution within an IT or software development environment. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum and Scaled Agile (SAFe). Strong grasp of iterative and incremental development principles. Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe, or equivalent is a plus. Proficient in Agile collaboration and project management tools such as Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence.
