Your Responsibilities as a CDL-A Delivery Driver: Conduct pre/post trip inspections of the tractor-trailer and submit a DOT inspection report. Check bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour deliveries. Drive safely and efficiently, applying your knowledge of commercial driving regulations. Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations, documenting deliveries, product temperatures, and exceptions. Unload the trailer and deliver products to customer premises. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications You’ll Bring: At least 21 years old. Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A). Minimum of 1 year or 50,000 miles of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience. Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications. Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level necessary for safe job performance, including understanding instructions and safety protocols.
