CDL Driver Solid Waste Collection

We are hiring a CDL Driver to operate a garbage truck on assigned routes to collect and transport solid waste. This position is 100% outdoors and safety-sensitive. New hires will start on the back of the truck (pitcher) until fully trained and a route becomes available. Pay: $20.00 per hour Requirements
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Current DOT medical card Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in extreme Florida heat (100% outdoors) Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive movements 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred Ability to manage a 23 person team Steel toe boots required (company provided after permanent hire) Key Responsibilities
Operate garbage truck on assigned routes Collect, load, and transport waste to disposal sites Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws Perform basic preventative maintenance and fueling Provide professional customer interaction Assist during emergency situations as needed Important Notes
100% outdoor work environment Strict attendance policy (No call/No show = termination) First 90 days are evaluation period (attendance & performance) Opportunity for permanent hire and pay increase after 90 days
