HCA Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our Clinical Decision Unit, a fast-paced observation and short-stay area that supports patients requiring ongoing evaluation and treatment. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will provide direct patient care while also serving as a clinical leader and resource to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with HCA Healthcare’s mission of compassion, teamwork, and innovation. You will coordinate patient flow, collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team, and oversee the delivery of evidence-based nursing care for a diverse adult population with varying levels of acuity.

In this role, you will actively participate in patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, while mentoring and supporting bedside nurses and ancillary staff. You will help manage staffing and assignments, monitor quality and safety metrics, and promote adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring timely admissions, transfers, and discharges within the Clinical Decision Unit, facilitating smooth transitions of care and effective communication with patients, families, and care teams.
