Customer Order Processing Associate (Gastonia)

LHH is seeking a Customer Order Processing Associate for a direct hire position in Gastonia, NC! This role supports customers and internal teams by managing the end-to-end order process. The position focuses on accurate order entry, responding to inquiries, coordinating with supply chain and warehouse partners, and ensuring orders are billed and fulfilled correctly. This position is fully onsite Monday - Friday. Responsibilities: Process a high volume of customer orders with accuracy and timeliness Serve as a primary point of contact for customer questions related to orders, pricing, and delivery Partner with internal teams to validate pricing, resolve discrepancies, and confirm inventory availability Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams when items are backordered or shipment issues arise Maintain and update customer and order data within internal systems Document and route customer concerns to the appropriate teams, tracking resolution progress Prepare invoices, finalize orders, and ensure required documentation is delivered to customers Assist with onboarding or mentoring new team members as needed Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in a business to business customer support or order management role Hands-on experience with order entry or transactional processing Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, supply chain, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience) Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Clear written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with ERP or customer management systems Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
