Customer Support agent (Chicago)

A technology company in Chicago is seeking a Customer Support agent to join their team. This is an exciting 6-week, in-office opportunity located in the Loop, starting the first week of May, paying $20/hr, and scheduled Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM. This is a great opportunity for someone who is technically minded, quick on their feet, and thrives in a fast-moving, problem-solving environment. Responsibilities of the customer support agent : • Provide top-tier customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless user experience • Troubleshoot technical issues and confidently guide users through step-by-step solutions • Document customer interactions and solutions accurately within internal systems • Utilize Salesforce to track, manage, and update customer cases • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve more complex issues efficiently • Maintain a strong understanding of company products and services to support customers effectively • Handle multiple customer requests simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail • Deliver a high level of professionalism and exceptional customer service in all interaction
Qualifications of the customer support agent : • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Technically minded with the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools • Salesforce experience preferred • Basic computer skills and overall technical proficiency required • Ability to think quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Highly organized with strong attention to detail • Smart, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
