This role requires initiative, flexibility, and responsibility with minimal supervision. You'll have the chance to work closely with physicians, triage patients efficiently, and cross-train in other nursing departments as needed.

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing patient care in an emergency setting
• Triaging patients safely, rapidly, and accurately
• Communicating effectively with physicians about patient status
• Cross-training in other nursing departments as needed
• Floating to Med Surg if required

Requirements for this role include:

• Current California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• 2+ years of recent ER experience preferred
• Operating knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (T-System and CPSI)
• Ability to pass a nursing medication test
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal skills to interface professionally with patients, staff, and the public
• Basic computer skills
• Need 2 years experience in setting
