We currently have an opening for 1 Qualified Sprinter/Diesel Technician looking to bring their craft to the next level. The applicant will be required to have 5 years experience with an New York State Inspector License. State of the art facility with A/C in the summer. Requirements and Qualifications Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner or Dodge Sprinter experience is ideal. Must be able to read and understand manufacturers Repair Procedures. Must be computer literate and be able to use Electronic Diagnostic Equipment. Will train candidates from other Manufacturers NY State Inspector and Valid Drivers License Manufacturers Special Tools, Tool Boxes, and uniforms are supplied. Fast paced, busy work environment that requires a positive attitude. Must be able to maintain proper productivity and work efficiency. Benefits Flat Rate, weekly guarantee, incentive bonuses. Pay rate consummate with level of experience. Full time position. Saturday required on a rotating basis. Sick, personal and vacation time available. Medical Plan 401K after 1 year. *Job Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* * Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair * Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards * Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts * Examine the vehicle to determine if any additional safety or service work is needed. * Road test customer vehicles * Ensure that customers’ cars are kept clean, undamaged, and without changes to the comfort, convenience systems or audio system settings. Notifies service advisor and/or service manager immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle. * When qualified, attend factory-sponsored training classes. * Keep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership owned tools at all times * Adhere to all attendance, punctuality and timekeeping standards Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
