Concord Center – Food Service Director (Brooklyn, NY) Concord Center is seeking an experienced Food Service Director to lead our Dietary Department. DUTIES: Plan, assign & supervise Food Service staff Create schedules & prepare payroll information Oversee food and supply storage & safe handling Ensure kitchen, storage, dining areas & equipment remain clean and compliant Inspect resident trays for accuracy and diet compliance Assist on tray line when needed Plan and coordinate food preparation for special events Handle ordering & purchasing for the department Conduct staff training, orientation & ongoing development

REQUIREMENTS: CDM certification required HS diploma or equivalent Long-term care food service experience strongly preferred ServSafe or Sodexo certification preferred Knowledge of large-scale and therapeutic food preparation Strong leadership & supervisory abilities Excellent communication skills; strong team player
