Forklift Operator - Line Driver

Job Summary

Join Carlisle Companies Incorporated as an Operator I, where youll play a hands-on role in producing high-quality building materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, youll operate production machinery, support experienced operators, and ensure products meet Carlisles safety and quality standards. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with occasional overtime and no travel required.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Operate machinery within your assigned department to complete production work orders safely and efficiently

  
  


• 
  

  Review work orders and ensure proper materials are available to meet production needs

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor machine operations to maintain standard work and optimal performance

  
  


• 
  

  Perform safety-critical tasks including lockout/tagout, daily equipment inspections, and hazard-based functions

  
  


• 
  

  Stack, sort, bundle, and package materials according to departmental standards

  
  


• 
  

  Support Operators II and III with packaging and end-of-line operations as needed

  
  


• 
  

  Record production and quality data to support continuous improvement efforts

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in housekeeping, 5S activities, and SQDC initiatives

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with quality checks to verify production parameters are met

  
  


• 
  

  Meet production goals while strictly adhering to all safety requirements

  
  


• 
  

  Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Required:

• 
  

  Must be at least 18 years of age

  
  

Preferred:

  High School Diploma or GED

  Previous manufacturing or production experience

  
  

Working Conditions

  Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, mechanical parts, pinch points, and varying temperatures

  Elevated noise levels requiring hearing protection

  Heavy, stationary machinery on the production floor

  Shifts range from 810 hours, depending on schedule and business needs

  Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required
