The Role Full-Stack Engineer to own key product features end-to-end across React, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM, and AWS. Ship features powering AI-driven workflows and core user experiences, with high-level product direction and autonomy. What You’ll Do
Ship full-stack product features across our core app and AI-powered workflows. Translate high-level product goals into concrete backend + frontend implementations. Make smart tradeoffs in speed, scope, and UX—without excessive handholding. Work closely with product, business, and operations teams across sprints to move fast and stay aligned. Touch every part of the stack: React, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM, AWS.
Must-Haves
2–4 years building full-stack products in production environments. Attended a reputable 4‑year university with a strong CS program. Strong across both frontend and backend. Show strong product‑oriented mindset and ability to own the solution from problem statement to shipping. Know when to move fast, when to ask questions, and when to polish. No ego, no drama — just high‑context execution and good judgment. Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at building structure in fast‑moving, chaotic environments. Excellent communication skills and responsiveness. Eager to build solutions to challenging problems in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment.
Ideal Candidate Has
Interest in the automotive space. Strong personal projects demonstrating built and shipped products with current active users. Current or prior role at a high‑growth startup or market‑leading tech company with fast‑track progression. Experience building complex, workflow‑driven B2B SaaS products.
Not a Fit If
You’re looking for a 9–5 with fixed hours. You’re looking for remote or hybrid work. You prioritize work‑life balance often. You’re uncomfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. You need rigid structure or hand‑holding to be effective. You lead with ego instead of curiosity, collaboration, and accountability. You struggle to balance competing priorities across strategic and tactical work.
Why In‑Person in SF Matters
You’ll work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with a cracked sales and product team of former founders and industry experts in their 20s. Decisions happen live, not in backlogged async threads. A‑players work with A‑players, creating a buzzing energy in the office.
Benefits
100% premium medical, dental & vision coverage for you and your dependents. Unlimited PTO + major federal holidays. DoorDash stipend + all meals covered in‑office. Gym membership covered. Frequent team dinners, events, and off‑sites. The opportunity to transform and take over a legacy, multi‑billion‑dollar industry.
