We are seeking a vibrant, motivated and experienced Medical Front Desk Coordinator for a busy Plastic Surgery Office to become a part of our team! The candidate must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish. The qualified person must have previous experience in the medical field, preferably in Plastic Surgery.
Candidate must be courteous, efficient, professional but extremely friendly, well spoken, organized, hardworking and dependable, with knowledge of Medical terminology, excellent attention to detail and great telephone etiquette.
You will be responsible for the duties below as well as finding areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Greeting patients warmly upon arrival, determines needs, and ensures efficient transfer of care to other staff members as appropriate.
Schedule and Coordinate Appointments efficiently.
Answering and directing a high volume of calls (multiple lines).
Communicate pertinent with patients over the phone and in person.
Confirm data on the system is up to date and organized.
Keep a proper record of patients.
Collect payments and make receipts accordingly.
General Office Duties including Emailing, Faxing, and Scanning.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in medical front desk service, or other related fields (preferably in Plastic Surgery).
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced environment.
Bilingual is a must.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: To be determined at time of hire according to qualifications.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00 pm with hour for lunch.
Experience:
Medical Assistant 1+ years (Optional)
Medical office: 3 years (Required)
