Warehouse Inventory Specialist This position is responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing and distributing of GMP and non-GMP materials. Position includes being on the warehouse floor physically pulling, processing, and accurately completing customer orders.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following. Additional Responsibilities May Be Assigned. Responsible for maintaining inventory requirements for customer's facility, working with customer to assure product is picked/delivered in timely manner as requested.
Responsible for inventory transactions in both customer and our WMS.
Responsible for counting inventory on weekly/monthly basis
Responsible for inventory accuracy
Maintain inventory management procedures
Proper storage and handling of the received stock
Ensuring proper packaging of the outbound stock
Preparing reports of inventory balances, and any shortages
Reporting details and damages to management
Meeting deadlines for completion of delegated task
Ensuring cleanliness and proper organization of the stockroom
Coordinating with team members and other internal departments of the organization
Miscellaneous Duties
Special Projects Assist in companywide activities associated with the department.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma plus 2-3 years' experience in an inventory management setting preferred. Prior experience in inventory control, materials management, supply chain/logistics a plus. Good analytical skills. Ability to work unsupervised. A understanding and aptitude to work with computers (Inventory and Software programs). Strong communication and organizational skills a must. Good interpersonal skills for interacting and coordinating work with departments of the organization. Accuracy is a must.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and correspondence. Effective communication/comprehension skills - verbal and written.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to physically count, add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems establishes facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
