JOB OVERVIEW: Under limited to no supervision, the Maintenance Technicians (all all levels) perform the installation, PM, PdM, mechanical/electrical repair and troubleshooting of all plant and facility equipment, following all plant safety standards, in addition to advocating for a safe work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Duties: • Understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices. • Understands, follows and enforces all established policies, procedures and recognized practices. • Engages in the welding and fabrication of parts as required based on design build specs. • Performs PM (Preventative Maintenance) and PdM (Predictive Maintenance) tasks as assigned. • Performs a wide variety of mechanical maintenance and repair of production equipment and machinery using a variety of hand, gas and electrically powered tools. • Responds to emergency calls and makes immediate repairs to prevent equipment down time • Participates in machinery troubleshooting. • Assembles and re-assembles equipment; examines and tests mechanisms. • Inspects and calibrates instrumentation. • Tests equipment and adjusts calibration to ensure equipment is functioning within specified standards. • Interprets technical documents (prints, manuals etc.) as required • Promotes occupational safety standards; gives others feedback on their safety performance • Performs electrical installations/troubleshooting; installs wiring and conduit safely in compliance with company, state and federal regulations. • Trains and oversees Maintenance Technician I in troubleshooting, installation and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems. • Assist and train production employees in proper operation and maintenance of machinery

Required Minimum Qualifications : • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required. • Two-year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field is preferred. • Minimum 2-15 years of proven plant maintenance mechanic experience (aligned with multiple levels open). • Experience working with automation equipment. • Experience determining cause of machine downtime, poor quality or performance. • Experience installing support equipment, machines, hoses, basic wiring and lubrication. • Previous experience utilizing a CMMS system (Computer Maintenance Management Software). • Experience operating company vehicles and equipment (Forklifts, man lifts, crane etc.) • Ability to wire 3 phase motors, change out fuses and reset motor breakers • Ability to read electrical one-line diagrams.
