Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (California)
- Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Comfort providing therapy to diverse K-12 caseloads
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Ability to adapt therapies to meet varied student needs
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services and interventions to students, individually and in groups
- Assess and document students' physical, social, and emotional needs as related to school performance
- Develop individualized treatment plans and set goals within IEP teams
- Coach and consult with teachers and parents about strategies for student success
- Maintain clear records, timely reports, and consistent progress documentation
- Participate actively in staff meetings and professional development
