Your contribution Under the direction of the Asset Protection Division, you will be responsible for the monitoring of a closed-circuit TV system, answering division telephones, retail Asset Protection phone lines and the main switchboard, when necessary. The responsibilities of this position also include maintaining communication with the Asset Prevention staff, monitoring alarms in the Wakefern system, as well as logging Energy Management alarms. Candidates must be available to work from 8:00am-4:00pm or 4:00pm-12:00am. The operators are scheduled three weekends per month on both Saturday and Sunday. Availability to cover shifts on occasional weekday holidays is preferred. This position is located in Elizabeth, NJ. What you'll do You will maintain the card access system when needed, log entries and maintain records of all activities occurring during each shift. The CCTV Operation verifies requests for, processes and maintains all ID cards and respective files, assigns case numbers, distributes and maintains files on all store inventory reports, accident and fuel spill reports etc. A CCTV Operator is present onsite 24/7, regardless of whether the company is open for business. It is the responsibility of the operator to respond within a moment's notice to any of the abovementioned responsibilities, to assess emergency calls and to make immediate notifications and to maintain a permanent record of all activity. What we're looking for High school graduate or equivalent with secretarial/business school training desired Must have strong judgment skills and knowledge to act in the best interests of safety and the well-being of our Associates, as well as protecting the assets of the company Must be flexible and dependable to work required weekend, holiday and possible coverage for vacations, as needed. Professional telephone skills. Placement in the range depends on several factors, including experience, skills, education, geography, and budget considerations.
