The Chattanooga VA  is seeking a part-time Hematology/Oncology Physician  for a combined appointment with the VA Tennessee Valley Health Care System  and the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology  at our academic affiliate. This is a primarily an outpatient role , with a strong focus on infusions and injections  delivered in a modern, team-based setting. Duties may include: Outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinics and outpatient chemotherapy infusion room Inpatient consult service and inpatient/outpatient chemotherapy administration Bone marrow biopsy and aspiration Participation on the inpatient medicine service as needed You will also serve an important supervisory and teaching role , precepting nurse practitioners, physician assistants, fellows, residents, and medical students within the VA TN Valley Health Care System.
