Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position near Eden Prairie involves serving a K-8 school with approximately 20 students receiving speech services. Your expertise will foster communication skills that open doors for young learners, while offering a schedule to suit your lifestyle.

Enjoy flexible hours, working two days per week from around 8:00 am to 12:45 pm. Each of your students generally receives 20-minute sessions twice a week, allowing for focused interventions and strong rapport-building. Support for newer clinicians is available—those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply and grow with caring mentorship.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP state licensure or eligibility (CFY welcome)
  • Experience with pediatrics or K-8 populations
  • Strong understanding of IEP process and service delivery in school settings
  • Comfort with in-person and/or teletherapy speech services
  • SLP-CCC or evidence toward completion preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-8 students
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document progress
  • Deliver services in both individual and small group settings
  • Communicate effectively with families and staff
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions for a range of communication needs
  • Participate in team meetings and student support plans
