Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid physical therapy license (active and in good standing)
  • Experience working with school-age populations, especially PreK students, is highly valued
  • Previous experience with Special Education (SPED) programs is strongly preferred
  • Ability to create and implement IEP-driven therapy plans
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency is highly desired
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Capacity to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ motor skills and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver physical therapy services aligned with IEP goals in a school-based setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Offer expertise at IEP meetings and participate in team planning
  • Balance caseload priorities to ensure quality care within a part-time schedule
