Desired Qualifications:
- Valid physical therapy license (active and in good standing)
- Experience working with school-age populations, especially PreK students, is highly valued
- Previous experience with Special Education (SPED) programs is strongly preferred
- Ability to create and implement IEP-driven therapy plans
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency is highly desired
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Capacity to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ motor skills and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver physical therapy services aligned with IEP goals in a school-based setting
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Offer expertise at IEP meetings and participate in team planning
- Balance caseload priorities to ensure quality care within a part-time schedule
