Position Overview

  • Role: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

  • Schedule: Full-Time (Flexible Scheduling Options Available)

  • Compensation: $45.00$50.00+ per hour (based on experience)

  • Program: Stable, in-house therapy program (not a contract agency)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient treatment as directed by the Physical Therapist in accordance with physician orders.

  • Accurately complete daily treatment notes and weekly progress documentation per PT Board standards and facility guidelines.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning, rehab conferences, and team communication.

  • Assist in training Restorative Aides in collaboration with the nursing team to promote continuous patient mobility.

  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on maintenance programs and safe discharge planning.

  • Maintain professional relationships and ensure all rehab equipment remains in excellent working condition.

Qualifications

  • Active California Physical Therapist Assistant license
