We are a trusted brand supplying industrial tools to the automotive, aerospace, and consumer markets. Based in the City of Industry, our site features 200 FTEs and a dedicated team of 12 Engineers.

Location: City of Industry, CA Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (Engineering Preferred). 3+ years of experience in manufacturing & R&D sourcing , planning, and procurement (defense, aerospace, automotive, or high-tech industries). Must have sourced commodities, specifically electronic components : AD converters, memory modules, microprocessors, and Delrin thermoplastics. Experience performing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis. Hands-on experience and oversight with selecting and purchasing electronic components . Be a strong negotiator with a track record of developing supplier relationships . Competency in tracking orders, reviewing inventory levels, forecasting, quality assurance. Track record of driving continuous improvement. Experience with controlling costs, on-time delivery.

Responsibilities Provide hands-on oversight of purchasing operations . Manage, mentor, and develop a team of direct reports : buyers and planners. Ensure shortages are avoided (manage out-of-stock material, back orders, and mitigate material lead-time issues). Evaluate obsolete materials and seek alternatives. Negotiate costs based on current standard cost. Forecasting: Use data analysis to plan purchase releases. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Review performance metrics and process outcomes. Identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions. Create and execute resource optimization plans. Partner with sourcing team to maintain regulatory compliance across all site operations.
