Job Title

Responsible for routine maintenance of the collection trucks, cleaning, and conduct pre and post trip inspections, etc. on a daily basis. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely and effectively operate various truck controls, operating skills, depth perception, and physical motor skills while operating large garbage collection trucks.

Qualifications: Must be a graduate of a standard senior high school or equivalent; and experience equivalent to two (2) years full-time driving and maintenance work involving the operation of medium to large sized equipment. Must provide a copy of state driver's license record. Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. Must be able to operate the controls of a vehicle, repeatedly using wrists and hands. Ability to work in extreme hot and cold environmental conditions. Must be able to climb in and out of vehicle repeatedly. Previous experience operating commercial equipment in congested areas is highly desirable. Successful applicants will be required to complete a driving test and must have a safe driving record.
