~Full-time - Weekends - Day shift - 7:00am-7:30pm

~Staff NURSE

~Make a meaningful difference on every shift as a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse, delivering compassionate, high-acuity psychiatric care to adults and patients in crisis across inpatient and emergency settings while gaining valuable cross-training and clinical growth.
Direct impact on patients experiencing acute mental health and behavioral crises
Combination of inpatient psychiatric care and emergency psychiatric stabilization
Cross-training across multiple units for skill expansion and variety

Unit & Patient Population
~ Behavioral Health Unit (BHU): 23-bed adult inpatient psychiatric unit
~4A Unit: 12-bed adult inpatient psychiatric unit
~ Emergency Department Psychiatric Pods:
~ Patient populations include adults, adolescents, and children in acute psychiatric crisis
Provide safe, age-appropriate, evidence-based nursing care to psychiatric patients
Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health providers, and social services
Serve as a clinical resource and advocate for patients and families
Float and cross-train across inpatient and emergency psychiatric areas as needed
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent
RN Diploma with relevant experience accepted
Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license
Working knowledge of psychiatric nursing theory and practice
Behavioral Health or Psychiatric Nursing
Emergency Department or Crisis Stabilization
Acute Care or Critical Care nursing
