Tufts Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – R3 to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in our renowned academic medical center in Boston. As an R3 nurse, you will provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to a diverse population of patients with complex medical and surgical needs, supporting the full continuum of care from admission through discharge in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.In this role, you will independently perform holistic nursing assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient responses in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, pharmacists, social workers, and case managers. You will administer medications and treatments safely, monitor and interpret patient clinical data, respond promptly to changes in condition, and escalate concerns using established clinical pathways and critical thinking skills.You will serve as a primary point of contact for patients and their families, providing clear education on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge plans while promoting health literacy and shared decision-making.
