Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding contract opportunity awaits a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) eager to make a lasting impact in an educational setting. You’ll support students from pre-K through 12th grade (primarily K-5), providing high-quality speech therapy across three diverse school sites, including Headstart programs and private school students. This full-time position (37.5 hours/week, 5 days/week) spans the academic year and offers meaningful collaboration with educational teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid NC SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Ability to complete a DHHS Pre-K background check
  • Experience working with diverse student populations across a range of ages
  • Strong organizational skills and documentation proficiency
  • Understanding of IEP development, case management, and facilitation

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to a caseload of 40-50 students
  • Document progress and session notes in ECATS
  • Develop required IEP paperwork, including present levels, goals, service times; serve as case manager as needed
  • Organize and facilitate IEP meetings for students whose only area of eligibility is Speech Impairment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff across three school sites to support student success
  • Maintain rigorous compliance and timely communication with all required documentation
