This full-time, contract opportunity is based onsite near Hanceville, AL, where you'll collaborate with a supportive school community dedicated to student growth. As an SLP, you'll play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and supporting students with diverse communication needs. Virtual options may be considered late May if appropriate.

Preferred candidates will bring strong clinical skills, enthusiasm for working in school settings, and a collaborative approach. Caseloads and grade levels will be determined based on student needs, and your preferences will be taken into consideration.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Alabama SLP license and TCERT certification (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Comfort with assessment, IEP development, and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans for students
• Provide direct therapy services tailored to student goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and share expert recommendations
• Adapt services as needed to meet changing caseload or student needs
