Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a School SLP
- Previous experience working in K-8 educational environments is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and deliver evidence-based interventions for students with diverse speech/language needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy to a varied caseload of Pre K–8th grade students
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to inform IEP development
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans, ensuring progress toward set goals
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and related service providers for holistic student support
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional guidance regarding students’ communication needs
