Tram Drivers operate tram vehicles in a safe and professional manner as outlined in the tram driver training manual with emphasis on customer service and vehicular safety. Tram drivers provide narration for the tour of the Garden grounds, collections, and exhibits./ppSpecific Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliMaintenance of vehicle including fueling and cleaning./liliProvide safe transport of passengers through the Garden grounds while providing narrative explanation./liliObservance of both institutional and departmental policies and protocols./liliConduct all transactions in accordance with policies and procedures set forth by the Visitor Services Department./liliAct as a Visitor Services Attendant and/or perform other duties as needed./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliMust have a valid Driver License for a minimum of one (1) year./liliMust have excellent communications skills./liliMust be available to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays./liliPrevious customer service experience desired./li/ulpPhysical Demands and Work Environment:/pulliAbility to move 50 lbs./liliAbility to work in a variety of weather conditions and to be outdoors, sitting or standing for long periods of time./li/ulpBaseline Schedule: Varies; Must have open availability 9am 6pm Weekends and 2 weekdays/ppHourly: $21/hr/ppIf you require an accommodation for any part of the application process, please notify the Human Resources department at HR@nybg.org.
