Job Overview

This position provides excellent customer service to guests by providing tram service transportation to various locations throughout the facility in a safe and efficient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

1. Cleans and inspects tram to ensure tram is clean, fueled, and functioning properly and reports problems to supervisor immediately.
2. Greets guests with a friendly smile and provides prompt and courteous customer service.
3. Communicate effectively, answering questions and providing directions.
4. Provides transport service in a comfortable, safe, and timely manner.
5. Consults patrons and gets approval from patrons before loading, securing, transporting, unloading, and moving their property on or off the tram.
6. Drives tram in a safe and prudent manner on designated routes, refuels tram after peak use, and park tram in designated location when not in use.
7. Practices non-aggressive, defensive driving techniques, anticipates and reports traffic problems to other drivers.
8. Monitors and responds to communication over radio.
9. Complies with all safety policies, guidelines, and procedures.
10. Prepares and submits reports and forms for each shift.
11. Ensures Drivers License is always valid and in possession while driving.
12. Report accidents immediately to security and supervisor. (Follow accident protocol)
13. Performs other related duties as assigned when needed.
14. Promotes the District's F.A.I.R. values by creating a quality guest experience for both internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, communications skills, and driving skills.
• Good judgement and professionalism.
• Possess a valid driver's license with two years' experience. (Class A or B preferred)
• Ability to work cooperatively with team members and other staff.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Working Conditions

• Drives and sits for sustained periods.
• Moves objects up to 50 pounds.
• Involves some exposure to hazards or physical risk that require following safety precautions.
• Works outdoors and is exposed to weather conditions, dust, dirt, and exhaust fumes.
• Works a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
