Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN to join our team of healthcare professionals supporting hospitals and medical centers across the United States. In this travel role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a variety of acute care settings, helping facilities maintain safe staffing levels and ensuring continuity of care.

As a Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN with Fusion Medical Staffing, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, and managing a diverse caseload of patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. You will administer medications and IV therapies, manage pre- and post-operative care, support pain management, perform wound care, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. You will respond promptly to changes in patient condition, participate in rapid responses and codes as needed, and maintain meticulous documentation in the electronic health record.

You will frequently adapt to new hospital environments, unit cultures, and workflows, quickly learning facility policies, procedures, and EHR systems at each assignment location. Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a high level of professionalism are essential as you collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and support staff. You will also play a key role in educating patients and families about their diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions to promote safety and improve outcomes.
