Position Details

• Schedule/Hours:
  • Night shift
  • 36 hours per week, guaranteed
  • Every third weekend required

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to med/surg, oncology, neuro, and palliative patients within a 41-bed unit
• Perform accurate assessments and manage IV and Foley insertions, as well as NGT placements
• Efficiently use Alaris IV pumps and charting with EPIC EMR
• Adapt to occasional float assignments as needed
• Prioritize effective communication to foster a supportive environment for patients, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• 2+ years of experience in a med/surg setting
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with assessment, IV insertion, Foley insertion, and NGT placement
• Strong interpersonal skills—demonstrating commitment, curiosity, communication, and connection
