As a travel nurse specializing in Post-Anesthesia Care (RN-PACU), you will work alongside seasoned professionals who value innovative thinking, teamwork, and a commitment to excellent patient outcomes. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position; shifts and assignment specifics based on current unit needs
- Flexibility to float to Med/Surg or other units as necessary
Qualifications:
- Current CA RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience
- EPIC charting proficiency
- Documented successful completion of previous traveler assignments
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medium and high-acuity patients in a 30-bed CVU
- Manage complex cases, including cardiac events, surgical recovery, arrhythmias, and respiratory conditions
- Conduct thorough assessments, implement patient-specific interventions, and respond swiftly to clinical changes
- Occasionally float to sister units (such as Med/Surg) as required for patient care continuity
