About the property Forest Springs Resort is a 53-room boutique forest resort tucked into 10 secluded acres just outside downtown Eureka Springs, Arkansas. A long-standing property, fully reimagined under new ownership and reopening Mid May, 2026.
What guests come for:
10 acres of forest privacy — a true retreat setting just minutes from one of Arkansas's most beloved historic towns
Contrast therapy: sauna and cold plunge, available 24/7
Outdoor pool, open dawn to dusk
Pickleball court with equipment provided
Lounge games and a fireplace lit every evening
A new wine and beer bar (launching with reopening)
Quiet, thoughtfully redesigned rooms
The guest experience we're building: A small, hands-on team that genuinely cares. Contactless self check-in so arrivals are smooth. A property where the team knows the guests' names by the second day. The kind of place people return to year after year and recommend to friends — not because of corporate polish, but because everything just worked and someone clearly cared.
Eureka Springs draws a wide mix of guests: returning regulars, weekenders from across the region, destination travelers exploring the Ozarks, wellness seekers, and couples on quiet getaways. Our job is to make every one of them want to come back.
This is a launch, not a maintenance job We reopen May 20, 2026. The first 90 days will define the next 5 years of this property. We're standing up a new operation, building a team from scratch, executing a brand repositioning, and recovering from a rough chapter under previous management.
We need someone who has stood up an operation before — not someone who needs systems already in place.
If you've launched a property, reopened a struggling one, or built a team from scratch, this is for you. If you've only run stable, well-oiled operations, this isn't.
What you'll own Phase 1 — Launch (May–August 2026)
Stand up daily operations end-to-end
Hire, train, and lead the housekeeping, maintenance, and bar teams
Execute brand repositioning across every guest-facing channel
Get our first 100 5 star reviews on Booking, Expedia, Google
Build the SOPs that don't yet exist
Launch the wine and beer program
Walk every room, every shift — find the gaps before guests do
Phase 2 — Operate (September 2026 onward)
Floor operations and gap coverage across every shift
Hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
Guest experience from booking through review
Revenue channels: direct, , Expedia, Airbnb, Vrbo
Vendors, contractors, budget, payroll, and petty cash
SOPs, daily rhythm, capex input, and ownership strategy
This is not an office job The person who owns the P&L also grabs the room cart. xsgimln You will check guests in when it's busy, help housekeeping turn rooms when short, troubleshoot with the handyman, cover the bar on a Friday night, and answer the 10 PM phone call.
Some nights you're off at 6. Some nights the phone rings at 11 and you answer it.
What we're looking for Has launched, reopened, or repositioned a property — not just maintained one
Comfortable building systems from scratch, not just operating existing ones
Ran a small hotel, resort, STR portfolio, B&B, country club, or rooms-led restaurant
Works the same shifts as the team and never says that's not my job
Calm in chaos, organized in ambiguity, decisive without perfect information
Strong communicator with a genuine warmth for guests
Fluent in modern hospitality tech and willing to learn new systems quickly
Can lift 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and work weekends and evenings
Willing to live on-site with housing provided
What we offer Base salary: $60,000–$75,000 depending on experience
On-site housing: 3 bedroom / 2 bath included + utilities ($28,000 value)
Performance bonus tied to reviews, revenue, and operational goals
Real authority — direct ownership access, no corporate layers
A property at an inflection point with the autonomy to shape what it becomes
Total target package: $100k+
