As an OR Clinical Nurse Coordinator at HCA Healthcare within our Healthcare & Medical Services department, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered surgical care. In this position, you will coordinate and oversee daily clinical operations within the operating room, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure that procedures run smoothly and that patients receive high-quality, compassionate care. You will be responsible for organizing case flow and room assignments, monitoring staff workloads, and helping to resolve clinical and operational issues as they arise. Drawing on your strong clinical expertise, you will assist with complex surgical cases, provide direct patient care as needed, and serve as a clinical resource and role model for OR nursing staff. This includes supporting adherence to evidence-based practices, infection prevention standards, and all regulatory and hospital policies. You will actively support orientation, training, and ongoing professional development for team members, fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment grounded in HCA Healthcare’s values of compassion, integrity, and patient-first care. Partnering with leadership, you will help drive quality improvement initiatives, monitor key performance indicators such as on-time starts and turnover times, and participate in efforts to enhance patient safety, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.
