Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping & Receiving / Inventory Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for verifying incoming and outgoing products, matching shipments to invoices, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will interact with clients, support daily warehouse operations, and ensure all materials are handled and tracked efficiently.
This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities in a small team environment.
Key Responsibilities: Check in incoming products and verify accuracy against invoices Match shipments to corresponding documentation and resolve discrepancies Maintain organized and accurate inventory records Perform regular inventory counts and support goods in / goods out processes Interface with clients to ensure smooth order processing and communication Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for tracking and reporting Operate warehouse equipment including sit-down and stand-up forklifts (hi-lo) and pallet jacks as needed Support general warehouse operations and assist team members as needed Qualifications:
Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations Forklift (hi-lo) experience, including sit-down and stand-up equipment Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP experience preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers Ability to think independently and problem-solve effectively Good customer service and communication skills Understanding of inventory control and goods in / goods out processes Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities in a small team environment Additional information for the Shipping/Receiving Clerk
$19.00 hourly Monday- Friday- 7AM-5PM Warren, MI 48066
