Qualifications:

  • Current RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMCU experience in similar-sized facility
  • Documented cardiac stepdown experience required
  • Proficiency with cardiac drips: Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (active and required)
  • Strong critical thinking and team communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio in PCU/IMCU
  • Provide comprehensive care for cardiac population including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, C/P
  • Implement cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring as assigned
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Float to telemetry beds within the unit as needed
