Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLP license issued by North Carolina
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Successful completion of DHHS Pre-K background check
  • Experience with K-5 preferred; must be comfortable working with pre-K – 12th grade

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of 40-50
  • Work across 3 school sites, including Head Start and private placements
  • Document services and progress in ECATS
  • Complete IEP paperwork; serve as case manager (when Speech Impaired is primary)
  • Schedule and facilitate IEP meetings as required
